The experienced Iranian pair joined Gujarat Giants’ training camp ahead of the upcoming edition of Pro Kabaddi League.
Gujarat Giants are aiming for glory in Pro Kabaddi League 2023. While the team’s training is currently underway, the Iranian Kabaddi stars Fazel Atrachali and Mohammad Nabhibhaksh have joined the team’s camp in Ahmedabad for PKL 2023.
The experienced Iranian duo arrived in India on Saturday, 18th November. Coach Ram Meher Singh had already begun the training camp few weeks ago with the Indian players.
Fazel Atrachali returns to Gujarat Giants after a gap of six years. He played for the team way back in 2017. He was bought at the auction for 1.60 crores. The experienced Iranian will probably lead the side in the upcoming season. He lead the Puneri Paltan to a runner-up finish in the last edition.
Meanwhile all-rounder Mohammad Nabhibhaksh was also picked up by the team at the auction this year. Nabhibhaksh also played for Puneri Paltan in the last two editions. The Iranian duo will continue to forge a good partnership for Gujarat Giants in the upcoming season.
PKL 2023 will begin in Ahmedabad, which is the home ground for the Gujarat Giants. They will be facing Telugu Titans in the opening match of the tournament on December 2.
