Australian all-rounder Cameron Green is likely to be traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from Mumbai Indians (MI) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction. There are speculations that MI who have bought Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans (GT) at 15 crore INR, have traded Green to RCB to free up salary purse ahead of IPL 2024 Auction.

Green was bought my MI last year at the price of INR 17.50 crore. He was one of the most expensive buys in that season. Cameron Green had scored 452 runs and picked six wickets with an economy of 9.50 in IPL 2023.

But to make room for Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians needed to trade a big-money player. Cameron Green fit the bill and with Royal Challengers Bangalore already freeing up their roster, they jumped at the opportunity before IPL 2024 Auction.

After releasing 10 players, RCB had a total tally of 40.75 crores in their purse. After buying Green RCB will have 6 more slot to fill.
