Team India will be eyeing to make history when they will face Australia in the Cricket World Cup final at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on November 19. Ahead of the match, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma gave a big update on whether spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will get a chance in the IND vs AUS final or not.

There is an opportunity for all 15 to play. We will access the pitch and conditions today and tomorrow. The 12-13 men are ready but the Playing XI is not set and I want all 15 to be available for the match”, Indian skipper said in the pre-match conference.

Notably, Ashwin was part of the Team India’s opening game against Australia on October 8 but hasn’t played a game since then.

On being asked about the pressure of the final game, Rohit Sharma admitted that it is the “biggest dream” for the team members but they have to keep the calm on the field.

“Emotionally it is a big occasion. Without a doubt it is biggest dream for us. But for professional athletes, we have to play out game. The job of the 11 players will be to do their task despite the lingering thought at the back of the mind behind that this is the biggest day of their life”, Rohit said.

“It is extremely important to remain calm in these situations. The lads will be calm and then again it is a big occasion”, the Indian skipper added.
