Dynamic Duo: Jaiswal, Ishan & Rinku Lead India to 5th Highest Total in T20Is

The Greenfield turned out be a graveyard for the Australian bowlers against a young and aggressive Indian batting lineup.

It was a day to remember for Indian southpaws as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan, and Rinku Singh produced magic to take India to their 5th highest total in T20Is. Jaiswal started the proceedings in the IND vs AUS 2nd T20I, scoring 53 off 25 balls and taking India to 77 at the end of the powerplay.

Ishan then took over, milking the bowlers in the middle order. The wicketkeeper batsman also scored a fifty, albeit a bit slower (29 balls) than Jaiswal did. However, Rinku stole the show once again. The finisher has made the habit of ending things in style, and so he did this time as well. Rinku’s 31 of 9 balls provided the final nail in the coffin for the Aussie bowlers, who were tonked left, right, and center.
