The PKL 2023 is all set to begin with Gujarat Giants taking on Telugu Titans, followed by U Mumba facing UP Yoddhas. The 10th season will kick off with Gujarat Giants and Telugu Titans facing off at the TransStadia in Ahmedabad on 2nd December at 8.00 PM. Fazel Atrachali will lead the Gujarat Giants, while Pawan Sehrawat will lead the Telugu Titans.
Gujarat Giants have dominated in the head-to-head record against Telugu Titans, winning seven out of eight matches. The team has a good mix of youth and experience, with players like Atrachali and Mohammad Nabhibhaksh in defence, and Rakesh Sangroya and Parteek Dahiya in the raiding department.
Telugu Titans, led by Pawan Sehrawat, will be looking for redemption after finishing at the bottom of the points table in the last two editions. The team will be aiming for a fresh start under Sehrawat’s leadership.
In the second match of the night, 2015 champions U Mumba will take on UP Yoddhas, led by Pardeep Narwal. U Mumba and UP Yoddhas have faced each other 10 times in the league, with U Mumba winning five times and UP Yoddhas winning four times.
