Replying to a fans query, Rohan Bopanna said he is ready to partner MS Dhoni for Paris 2024.
India’s world no. 3 men’s doubles tennis player Rohan Bopanna has been in fine form this year and won a few tournaments, apart from making a host of finals with his Australia partner Matthew Ebden. When it comes to an Indian partner for Bopanna, he played with Yuki Bhambri at the Asian Games and lost in the second round. Perhaps it might be time for a change of Indian partner for Bopanna, and the fans have a few suggestions.
A fan on X posted a video of the former India cricket skipper MS Dhoni playing tennis and asked the tennis star if the former could be a ‘potential doubles partner’ for him. And much to the surprise of everyone, Bopanna replied in the affirmative. The 44-year-old said, “Yeah, 2024 Paris.” Meanwhile, in the video, MS Dhoni was seen hitting crisp forehands, which showed his prowess as an overall athlete.
