And what could be another mistake, RCB have released Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga while retaining Dinesh Karthik despite a poor last season. As they head to IPL 2024 Auction with Rs 40.75 Cr in purse, fans can’t keep but ask if RCB have made another blunder.
RCB already have a weak bowling line-up and it came as a shock that they are ready to the risk of releasing skillful bowlers like Hazlewood and Hasaranga. This bizarre decision has produced strong reactions from fans.
Interestingly, RCB have retained Dinesh Karthik who hasn’t had great IPL 2023. Karthik also hasn’t been a very active player.
