The moment Sean Strickland, the middleweight champion of the UFC, unexpectedly confronted a man in front of his house and held him at gunpoint is captured on dramatic video.

A man is seen staggering onto Strickland’s driveway between two cars at the start of the footage. The scene then turns to Strickland holding the man at gunpoint in his driveway as he leaves via his front door.

In the following frame, siren lights flash as another man wearing a red shirt appears. Then, Strickland approaches the man who fell into his driveway and shoves him to the ground. The man was earlier spotted strolling on the street. Once more pointing the rifle at the man, he begs him to “sit the f*ck down.”

Sean Strickland wrote: “Here’s what I know…The guy was drunk stomping out a girl, a security guard saw it, he jumped in his car and drove off. Security followed him, hit a curb, completely shredded his tire, drove on the rim for a while then jumped out and tried to hide at my house. I initially thought he was stealing my car…He was arrested.”

Although the exact time of the occurrence is unknown, Strickland uploaded the home security video to his Instagram profile on Monday. Although the exact circumstances are unknown, Strickland claimed to have thought the man was attempting to take his automobile.

This doesn’t seem to be the case, though, as the man was escaping from a security guard who was chasing him following a reported domestic abuse incident.

The 32-year-old Strickland is currently getting ready for his first middleweight title defense. He will square off against Dricus Du Plessis on January 20 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto as the main event of UFC 297.
