The ISL 2023-24 match between Hyderabad FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giants has been moved to Kalinga Stadium, with the Telangana election results to be declared.

Hyderabad FC vs Mohun Bagan Super Giant clash won’t be played in Hyderabad. The ISL 2023-24 encounter has found a new home in Odisha’s Kalinga Stadium. The Nizams Were set to face the Mariners at Gachibowli Stadium on December 2. However, complying with the security factors, the game has been changed. It comes on the backdrop of 5th IND vs AUS T20 which was scheduled in Hyderabad but will likely be played in Bengaluru.

The club has not stated why Hyderabad FC vs Mohun Bagan game was moved to Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium, which also serves as Odisha FC’s home venue. However, it is believed that the club decided for security reasons. With Telangana assembly election results to be announced on December 3, police protection for the match will be a difficult affair. Hence, the ISL clash will be moved out.

As a result of this change, Hyderabad FC will play their next four games away from their home, Gachibowli Stadium. Following the international break, the ISL will resume, with Hyderabad FC facing Kerala Blasters FC at Kochi in Match week 7.

Following that, they’ll play Mohun Bagan Super Giant at Kalinga Stadium, followed by two more road games against NorthEast United FC and Odisha FC. The club will then return to their home venue in Matchweek 11 to face Jamshedpur FC.
